Jumungo is an artist showcase geared towards the promotion of talented filmmakers, musicians, actors or other performers. Jumungo is a free site to post, in almost any video format, your independent film, short, animation, trailer, music video, audition, live footage, compilation or any talent or performance.  Jumungo was created mainly to help any artist gain exposure of their talents and ultimately getting people noticed for furthering their success.  Any content posted on Jumungo can be viewed by the public, rated and critiqued, or even downloaded if allowed by author.  Jumungo does not own or have any copyrights to the content posted but we reserve the right to delete any adult content, extreme violence, overtly racial or biased videos, or any content deemed universally unsuitable.

Q.        What is the cost of Jumungo?

A.        Jumungo is free.  There is no cost to view content, post content, register, rate or comment on other content, or communicate with other users.

Q.        By posting my film or video on Jumungo, do I lose any of my copyrights?

A.        No.  You retain the copyright.  In fact, if you have not formally gotten a copyright for your work, by posting on Jumungo, you have “proof of first use” as each posting is dated.  A posting of uncopywritten material will actually protect you and instantly provide proof that the work is yours.  We still recommend that you get full legal copyrights through your countries copyright office.  Posting content on Jumungo does NOT insure your copyright and the material must be yours or it will be removed by our staff.

Q.        Are there any size limits to the video clips posted?

A.       No.  In fact, this is how Jumungo can really help independent filmmakers as full feature length movies can be posted for viewing.

Q.        What limitations are there?

A.       Jumungo does not allow any adult oriented content of explicit sexual nature, extreme violence, overtly racial, purposefully biased or universally unsuitable videos to be posted.  These files will be removed immediately and the users registration will be revoked.  Essentially, we ask the Jumungo community to be responsible when making posts.

Q.        Can users download any video clip on Jumungo?

A.        No. The author posting the content will have to allow for this.  If a clip is available for download, you will see a directive and an option to do so.

Q.        What do I do if I see a video that seems objectionable or a video that appears to be copywritten by another source other than the poster?

A        The posting of content that is universally objectionable or does not conform to the rules of Jumungo will be removed.  We do our best to police the system but rely on the Jumungo community to notify us of any content they feel should not be for public consumption.  We will review all requests and make the necessary deletions.  Regarding copyrights, any posting of material that is not the copyright of the author posting it is against our policy, regardless of the content.  We will review all cases of potential copyright infringement and will remove all content where there is clear proof the author does not own the material.
